Bespoke Joinery for a Family Home

This project showcases a complete bespoke joinery package delivered by Input Joinery for a residential refurbishment. The brief was to create a cohesive design language throughout the home, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern performance.

Key elements included a solid timber front entrance system, feature circular windows and a closed string staircase, all designed and manufactured to suit the character and proportions of the property

One of the main focal points of the project was the timber front door. It was designed to make a strong first impression while still providing good thermal efficiency and security. Made from high-quality timber, the door has a classic but refined look, with clean detailing that ties in with the rest of the house.

To bring in more natural light and add visual interest, a series of bespoke windows were designed and installed, including a standout circular window. These features break up the form of the building and create focal points in key rooms, helping to give each space its own character.

At the heart of the interior, Input Joinery crafted a closed string staircase, forming a central architectural element within the home. The staircase was carefully proportioned to suit the space, combining structural strength with refined detailing.

Every element of the project was manufactured to bespoke specifications and installed with precision. Close coordination between design, production and site teams ensured a smooth installation process and consistent finish throughout. The completed refurbishment demonstrates how coordinated bespoke joinery can transform a home. The timber entrance door, circular windows and staircase work together to create a cohesive design narrative that feels both contemporary and timeless.
